Talk about synchronicity! Just this week I realized that my blog ( http://martinturnbull.wordpress.com/ ) was completely out of date. I started it in January, calling it "Are you there publishers? It's me, Martin." and it chronicled my process of querying literary agents. After 45 "not interested"s, I evolved into a self-publishing author with a brand, a website, a logo, Facebook page and a Twitter feed but I'd failed to notice that my blog hadn't reflected that at all. It was a big moment in recognizing that we are ever changing beings and that we need to look up from the keyboard every now and then and take a look around!

Beautifully and inspirationally said. Thank you. This has been a year of change for me and the wonderful part has been that in the very moment that I stopped being afraid of the change, transformation galloped in and swept me along. Sometimes I even remember to throw back my head and laugh out loud at the pure joy of the ride.

This is a great post. People tend to err on the side of the familiar (we all do it to some degree) and then get discouraged when nothing in their life changes. Taking control of the reins of your life and choosing the direction of your new adventure (each new day) is the only way to get to where your dreams will take you.

That is a life lesson we often need to remind ourselves of when we are stuck in a rut or feeling discouraged by a lack of progress in any certain area of life. There is no rule that says we must live each and every day without hope or desire for change. Once you give yourself permission to take a chance; and, put your efforts into realizing a goal without letting negativity stop you; you begin to realize that there are no limits to where you can go and no limits to what you can accomplish... that you have not imposed upon yourself! http://www.writeasrain.wordpress.com
