In 2004, I was named to the"Ad Age Marketing 50" for my work in launching the blockbuster book The South Beach Diet. I created a multi-platform marketing and communications strategy that launched in eleven bestelling books with more than 22 million copies in print in 37 countries. The South Beach Diet books continue to appear on national bestseller lists six years after the original launch.
Consulted with Oxmoor House on the development of a new high profile book project. Developed long term multi-platform integrated marketing and communications plan for the launch, including strategies for initial brand development and future brand extensions.
I worked with the co-founders of http://www.MrsP.com on the launch of their free children's storytelling site, introducing them to national media, potential literacy partnerships and mentored them in creating their social media strategies.
Consulted with the cooks at Moosewood on a re-branding strategy, a publicity outreach and identifying strategic media and marketing opportunities for the members. Utilizing customer research, delivered a recommended roadmap to assist the team in determining next steps in a multi-year strategy plan.
I worked with Meredith Books to develop a communications and marketing strategy and timeline for the launch of a high profile book project with major P&L expectations.
